Why shake, when you can season? This sleek setfeatures two distinct mills with the patented William Bonds grinding system, which finely crushes rather than grinds for a delicate sprinkling of salt or pepper over salads, meats and more. Modern brushed metal tops and acrylic body accent any table setting. Lifetime warranty.

| Well, I bought these and a set of Martha Stewart mills at the same time. These are quite nice, they do what they are supposed to do. HOWEVER, compared to the ones I gave to a friend, her birthday gift is nicer than the ones I elected to keep. These are a good classic shape, but hers are prettier. They do indeed crush, but I would greatly prefer that the crushed bits were much smaller. And althugh its silly, her refills came in little glass bottle, while mine are plasic tubes. So, these are nice, and I would likely have been pleased with them if I hadn't have had the easy oppurtunity to compare them to the Martha Stewart ones. (I suggest Martha Stewart Collection 7" Del Norte Salt and Pepper Mill) |

Pros:
Excellent grinding (crushing) action.
Consistent pepper/salt flake sizes.
Comes with grinders pre-filled with salt and pepper and extra (4oz) refill cannisters of both sea salt and pepper.
Very Stylish and attractive.
Cons:
Made in China. |

| They were bigger than I expected which I really liked. Came with peppercorns and sea salt already in it, and an extra refill container. Grinder works really great and the set is beautiful. |

| My sister had a previous model that didn't work as well. Her's was all stainless and the salt was not a mill, it was a shaker. She hates it because the salt shaker is filled from the bottom that has a flimsy plastic cap that's not good anymore. I like this one much more because it is an actual mill. Be careful which one of these models you buy. There are three kinds; one that adjusts the grind by twisting the knob on the top, which isn't very good because it loosens and shifts grinds; the other adjusts to two settings only fine and corse, which doesn't work well for me either; then there is another that has maybe five or six adjustable settings that I think is really the best one of the bunch. I really like the way the salt comes out in fine snow-like flakes rather then in chunks and I love the results that is produced by crushing the peppers instead of grinding them, the process produces much more fragrant pepper smell and taste in dishes. The product is fairly new in my kitchen so I can't tell you how it will perform in the future. I am trusting it for now. |
